Location
The property is approx. 5 km from the center of Botngård. In Botngård you will find schools, kindergartens, public administration and other types of services. Botngård school with grades 1 to 10. Fosen Secondary School is a modern school also located in Botngård.
Fosenhallen is a modern ice rink with full-scale ice rinks. Curling rink and ice hockey rink that can also be used for figure skating. There is also an artificial turf pitch in the middle where you can play football all year round.
Wall-to-wall with Fosenhallen is Bjugnhallen, which has a rich range of leisure activities within ball sports. On the grass field outside you can play football in the summer.

There are great hiking opportunities in the area. You can put on your hiking boots at the front door and go straight out into nature. There are great hiking areas out by the coast. Otherwise, Tønnelsfjellet, Steinvikfjellet, Ursfjellet and Kopparen are popular hiking destinations. Only a short drive from the home are groomed ski slopes in winter at Tjønnstua and Litj-Gjølga.
Botngård has a rich and varied range of merchandise. Here you can mostly find what you need. Otherwise, it is a short drive to Brekstad, which is the municipal center in Ørland municipality. The coastal express has eight daily departures to and from Trondheim on weekdays from Brekstad harbour. The boat has wireless internet and power access which makes it possible to commute to and from Trondheim. See AtB's website for more information: atb.no. There are also daily flights with AirNorway from Brekstad Airport to Oslo, with the exception of Saturdays.
