It is approx. 11 km. to Hosensand, one of the country's finest sandy beaches. The beach is child-friendly because that it is so shallow. On the other part of the beach you will find the Stokkøya Sea Centre, with various activities. Here there is accommodation and conference rooms in architecturally exciting buildings with the Strandbaren, which is known as one of the summer's best hangouts.
Harbakhula is a natural rock cave 130 meters deep and approx. 40 meters high at the cave opening. From the cave opening there is a fantastic view out over the sea and the archipelago.
Drageid burial ground is one of the country's largest collections of burial stones and burial mounds. The finds testify to great activity in this area from AD 400. The place is also a dragon farm, a place where people from olden times pulled the boats over land between the Skråfjorden and the Åfjorden.
